AcadianaCares staff certified in HIV/STI testing and counseling provide up-to-date, comprehensive information about HIV/AIDS and other STIs in presentations that promote honest discussion about sexual health. One of the factors driving the HIV epidemic is widespread misinformation about how the virus is – or is not – spread and a lack of risk-reduction education. AcadianaCares has been teaching safer sex skills for over 35 years, and we are happy for any opportunity to teach people in Acadiana how to stop the epidemic.
