AcadianaCares provides Intensive Outpatient (IOP) treatment services for chemically dependent adults. IOP allows participants to continue their professional careers while receiving the treatment necessary for a productive, addiction-free life. Individuals appropriate for IOP include those stepping down from a primary treatment program or who do not require detoxification, or individuals who are able to begin abstinence without the support of a residential program.

Our IOP services are multi-phased and designed for individuals who require an intensive and structured drug treatment program. The program lasts for a minimum of 12 weeks and includes at least three group evening sessions and one individual session per week.
