Through the Sliding Fee Discount Program, AcadianaCares offers services at reduced cost to individuals who are uninsured or underinsured, based on their income and family size. The costs of services change according to the patient’s income or ability to pay. AcadianaCares serves all patients regardless of their ability to pay. To qualify for the Sliding Fee Discount Program, download and fill out the form linked below and bring it with you to your appointment, or ask our staff for more information. Patient discounts are based on income and household/family size. Individuals who are uninsured or underinsured, and whose family size and income place them at or below 200% of the federal poverty guidelines, as defined by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, are eligible for sliding fee discounts for services provided through the Health Clinic at AcadianaCares.

AcadianaCares also offers assistance for patients living with HIV through the Ryan White Program. Individuals at or below 400% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines qualify for Ryan White services.
